ReSolve Energy Advances Biomass-to-Energy Technology
Montreal, Quebec — December 16, 2025 — Leads & Copy —
ReSolve Energy Inc. (CSE: RESO) is advancing its technology that transforms biomass into renewable energy, reducing fossil fuel use and greenhouse gas emissions. The technology converts sawmill bark, forestry residues, deconstruction wood, and paper mill sludge into renewable energy.
ReSolve Energy offers a solution for carbon-intensive industries seeking to decarbonize and enhance energy independence.
President & CEO Ian C. Peres stated the company's mission is to convert environmental challenges into economic growth through renewable energy production using forestry residues, supporting regional economic diversification and creating skilled jobs.
The biorefinery process converts lignocellulosic biomass into lignin heating pellets, second-generation bioethanol, and renewable electricity from integrated cogeneration.
Lignin pellets have a calorific value of approximately 27 gigajoules per tonne. The second-generation ethanol is derived from residual forestry biomass, offering lower carbon intensity than first-generation ethanol. Cogeneration units will produce renewable electricity for the provincial grid or nearby industries.
ReSolve complies with provincial and federal carbon neutrality objectives.
ReSolve is focused on developing advanced biofuel and renewable energy technologies, as well as exploring natural hydrogen resources. The Corporation owns 119 mineral exploration claims covering 6,613 hectares (66 km2) in Québec.
