Corporation Charbone Reports 155% Increase in Q2 Gas Revenue Amidst Expansion

Varennes, Québec — August 27, 2026 — Leads & Copy — CORPORATION CHARBONE (TSXV: CH; OTCQB: CHHYF; FSE: K47), an integrated industrial gas company focused on the production, distribution, and storage of ultra-high purity (UHP) clean hydrogen and other strategic industrial gases, has announced its financial and operational results for the second quarter and six-month period ending June 30, 2026. The company will also host a webinar on Monday, August 31, at 11 a.m. Eastern.

In the second quarter of 2026, gas-related revenue from CHARBONE's hydrogen production facility and regional supply platforms for all industrial gases increased by 155% to $0.5 million, up from $0.2 million in the prior three-month period ending March 31, 2026. This significant demand acceleration throughout the quarter led to increased recurring revenue and the acquisition of new clients. CHARBONE is continuing to develop its integrated platform, including Phase 1B of its Sorel-Tracy plant, following the arrival of its second electrolyzer at the site. The company is also deploying distribution equipment to meet growing demand and anticipated future sales growth from both existing and new customers.

Key highlights for Q2 2026 include a 155% increase in gas-related revenue to $0.5 million, compared to $0.2 million in Q1 2026. For the six months ended June 30, 2026, gas revenue rose 100% to $0.6 million, compared to zero for the same period in 2025. General and administrative expenses remained controlled in Q2 2026, with the company continuing to improve its operating leverage relative to revenue growth. On April 29, 2026, the company drew $3,000,000 on its new $10 million secured convertible loan, with the possibility of additional draws during the loan's term. As of June 30, 2026, property, plant, and equipment increased by $3.5 million since December 31, 2025, reflecting continued investments in the development of Sorel-Tracy Phase 1B and its distribution infrastructure.

"Our platform is generating revenue across multiple markets and from multiple gases, and we are thrilled with the momentum we are experiencing. In North America, we are expanding our footprint and supplying sustainable UHP industrial gases to customers who rely on a dependable regional supply. Concurrently, we remain focused on operational performance and disciplined investments. With the Phase 1B electrolyzer now on site at Sorel-Tracy, we are proceeding with its commissioning according to the planned timeline for Fall 2026. Our vision is rapidly materializing, and we continue to execute on this growth for the long-term benefit of our shareholders," said Benoit Veilleux, Chief Financial Officer and Corporate Secretary of CHARBONE.

On June 3, 2026, the company's legal name was officially changed from Corporation Charbone Hydrogen to Corporation Charbone, reflecting its evolution into a comprehensive industrial gas platform. Following Q2 2026, CHARBONE also increased its dedicated helium delivery fleet from one to five units due to increased commercial demand, adding 22 new customers in Quebec and securing long-term supply commitments through 2028. On August 18, 2026, the company announced the delivery of the Phase 1B electrolyzer to its Sorel-Tracy hydrogen production facility, marking the most significant concrete milestone to date for the Phase 1B development, with commissioning scheduled for Fall 2026.
