Juggernaut Exploration Reports Significant Progress in Maiden Drill Program at Big One Property
Vancouver, British Columbia — August 27, 2026 — Leads & Copy — Juggernaut Exploration Ltd. (JUGR.V) (OTCPK: JUGRF) (FSE: 4JE) has announced that initial drilling at its Big One property in British Columbia's Golden Triangle has confirmed the Whopper Zone extends to a depth of 580 meters and a strike of 600 meters. The program has intersected broad intervals up to 20.24 meters of quartz-sulphide mineralization within this newly discovered, district-scale gold, silver, and copper-rich system. The Whopper Zone remains open for expansion both laterally and at depth.
Multiple drill holes have intersected substantial intervals of broad quartz-sulphide veins and shears containing mineralization visually similar to surface samples that assayed up to 44.76 g/t AuEq and continuous channel cuts yielding up to 6.89 g/t AuEq over 4.00 meters. As a result of these promising findings, the company has expanded its 2026 drill program by approximately 30%, increasing the planned drilling from 10,000 meters to approximately 13,000 meters.
The Whopper Zone's confirmed strike on surface is 600 meters, with a down-dip extent confirmed in drill core of 580 meters, and it remains open for expansion. Several drill holes have encountered significant intervals of quartz-sulphide veins and shears, some up to 20.24 meters wide, containing chalcopyrite, galena, and sphalerite. These are comparable to high-grade gold-bearing samples collected on the surface.
Specific drill hole results reported include:
- BO-26-17 intersected the Whopper Zone in a 20.24-meter interval (236.20 m to 256.44 m) with multiple quartz-sulphide veins and veinlets, hosted in sheared diorite with sericite alteration. Assays are pending.
- BO-26-16 intersected the Whopper Zone in a 17.59-meter interval (231.12 m to 248.71 m) characterized by quartz-sulphide veining within foliated diorite with sericite and chlorite alteration. Assays are pending.
- BO-26-11 intercepted the Whopper Zone in a 13.08-meter interval (232.02 m to 245.10 m) containing multiple quartz-sulphide veins with pyrite, sphalerite, chalcopyrite, and galena, hosted in sheared diorite with quartz-sericite and chlorite alteration. Assays are pending.
- BO-26-23 intersected three mineralized shear zones, including the Whopper Zone in a 5.01-meter interval (300.31 m to 305.32 m) characterized by sphalerite and pyrite. Additional mineralized shear zones up to 5 meters wide were intersected above and below the Whopper Zone. Assays are pending.
- BO-26-19 intersected the Whopper Zone in a 3.24-meter interval (236.66 m to 239.90 m) consisting of foliated and sheared diorite with quartz-sulphide veins containing pyrite, galena, and sphalerite. Assays are pending.
- BO-26-15 intercepted the Whopper Zone in a 3.18-meter interval (242.53 m to 245.71 m) containing quartz-sulphide veins with sphalerite, pyrite, and chalcopyrite in sheared and altered diorite. Assays are pending.
- BO-26-24 intercepted the Whopper Zone in a 5.02-meter interval (620.82 m to 625.84 m) containing quartz-sulphide veins with pyrite. Drilling is ongoing, and assays are pending.
Surface grab samples have assayed up to 44.76 g/t AuEq, and representative channel sampling across the structure has returned 6.89 g/t AuEq over 4.00 meters. Drilling and surface mapping indicate that the 5-meter wide vein is enveloped within a massive, up to 50-meter wide shear zone traced for over 600 meters with up to 780 meters of vertical relief, which remains open for expansion.
Visible gold has been identified in surface samples, with gold particles up to 150 microns in size. Pervasive propylitic alteration outside the veins and shear zones in drill holes suggests proximity to a buried porphyry core.
Manuele (Lele) Lazzarotto, President and COO of Juggernaut Exploration, stated that the Whopper Zone and the recently reported Big Mac Zone are indicative of a district-scale mineralizing system. He noted that the current drill program has exceeded expectations, intersecting significant widths, textures, and mineralization similar to high-grade surface samples. The program will continue with two drill rigs until mid to late September, weather permitting.
The 22 km² Eldorado zone, where surface samples have assayed up to 263.70 g/t AuEq, is being tested by the expanded drill program. This zone contains over 400 mineralized veins up to 10 meters wide within shear zones up to 50 meters wide, exposed for over 1 km with significant vertical relief, and remains open.
The mineralization at Big One is linked to a Jurassic to Cretaceous transpressional system and associated intrusive sources, similar to the geological events that formed the nearby Galore Creek copper, gold, and silver porphyry deposit. The system shows widespread porphyry-style propylitic alteration, which will aid in vectoring towards the source of the mineralization.
The Big One property is situated in a region known for precious metal and porphyry deposits, including nearby systems at Galore Creek, KSM, Shaft Creek, Brucejack, Trophy, and Sphal Creek. The property's geology, including propylitic alteration, geophysical anomalies, and strong geochemistry, is considered favorable for hosting such deposits.
Access to the Big One property is available year-round via helicopter from the Barrington Mine or the Galore Creek Road. The Canadian government has committed funding to extend the Galore Creek Road, improving access to the property. The property's exploration qualifies for the Critical Mineral Exploration Tax Credit.
