San Lorenzo Gold Corp. Outlines New Gold Target at Quebrada Salada, Expands San Juan Geophysical Footprint, and Commences Cerro Blanco Drilling
Calgary, Alberta – September 17, 2026 – Leads & Copy – San Lorenzo Gold Corp. is advancing its Salvadora Project in Chile’s Atacama Region, highlighting new exploration targets and ongoing drill programs. The company reported that reconnaissance prospecting, geological mapping, and surface sampling at Quebrada Salada have outlined an approximately two-kilometer-long gold-bearing structural corridor east of existing induced polarization (IP) chargeability responses.
The Quebrada Salada trend features multiple subparallel felsic dykes and iron oxide-quartz vein zones. Reconnaissance sampling returned gold values up to 12.80 g/t Au, with anomalous gold identified at several locations along the mapped trend. This area is considered compelling as the gold-bearing structures are situated along the eastern margin of current IP coverage, near several chargeability responses. Portions of the mapped trend extend beyond the current geophysical footprint, and the relationship between surface mineralization and these subsurface responses is yet to be tested.
This setting is analogous to the exploration approach that led San Lorenzo to the San Juan discovery, moving from surface workings and geochemistry along the Arco de Oro trend to IP-defined subsurface targets. The next steps at Quebrada Salada include extending geological and geophysical coverage to determine if the surface epithermal system is part of a larger hydrothermal system at depth.
At the San Juan target area, new IP lines D10 and D11 have been incorporated into the interpretation, expanding the geophysical picture beyond the initial discovery drilling. San Juan was initially identified by drilling a blind chargeability anomaly on IP line D8, where subsequent drilling intersected significant gold mineralization. Notable results from previous drilling include 102.3 metres grading 1.33 g/t Au and 52.6 metres grading 1.67 g/t Au in SAL-10-25, as well as 58.5 metres grading 1.07 g/t Au and 60.3 metres grading 1.01 g/t Au in SAL-09-25.
The expanded dataset now reveals substantial chargeability responses across lines D8 through D11. IP line D9, located approximately 500 metres from D8, shows a broad and prominent chargeability response, with D10 and D11 identifying additional responses across the wider survey area. While the relationship and potential continuity between these responses are under evaluation, the current interpretation suggests the geophysical footprint at San Juan extends significantly beyond the area drilled to date. The immediate exploration priority is to conduct systematic step-out drilling from the D8 discovery towards D9, testing the substantial undrilled ground between these lines. The D8–D11 dataset is also being integrated into ongoing 3D geophysical work to refine the geometry of the principal responses and guide future drill targeting.
San Lorenzo is also progressing an integrated 3D compilation of approximately a decade of geophysical work across the 11,962-hectare Salvadora Project. This program aims to consolidate historic and recent IP datasets into a common framework to enhance the understanding of the property-scale geophysical architecture, support drill planning, and aid in the generation and prioritization of new targets.
The drill program at Cerro Blanco is underway as part of the Company’s permitted 20-pad program. This program is designed to follow up on previously reported broad zones of gold mineralization and further test the scale and continuity of the Cerro Blanco system within its broader alteration and geophysical footprint. Previous drilling at Cerro Blanco returned multiple broad gold intercepts, including 153.5 metres grading 1.04 g/t Au in SAL-01-24.
Brandon Gaspar, CEO of San Lorenzo, expressed optimism about the project's potential, stating, “San Juan has already demonstrated the value of using IP to identify blind mineralized systems, and Quebrada Salada is now emerging as another compelling target.” Terence Walker, Vice President Exploration, added that the combination of gold-bearing structures, felsic dykes, and nearby chargeability responses at Quebrada Salada aligns with the company's exploration model.
The Salvadora Project is located approximately 15 kilometres from Codelco’s El Salvador copper-gold mine and hosts multiple gold and copper-gold discoveries. San Lorenzo is focused on expanding known mineralized systems, testing a growing pipeline of exploration targets, and defining the scale and potential of the project's broader mineralized systems.
