Noble Mineral Exploration Inc. Acquires Lucas Gold Project from Canada Nickel Company Inc.
Toronto, Ontario — September 17, 2026 — Leads & Copy — Noble Mineral Exploration Inc. announced today it has entered into a Purchase Agreement to acquire the Lucas Gold Project from Canada Nickel Company Inc. This follows a previously announced letter of intent between the two companies on July 13, 2026.
Under the terms of the agreement, Noble will issue 5,000,000 units, valued at $0.06 per unit. Each unit will comprise one common share and one-half of a non-transferable common share purchase warrant. These warrants will be exercisable at $0.15 per share for two years.
Canada Nickel Company Inc. will retain the right to purchase a 25% interest in the property, known as the Back-in Right. This right can be exercised at any time starting from the Trigger Date, which is the earlier of 36 months from the transaction's closing, the date when $5 million in exploration expenditures have been incurred on or with respect to the property (including adjacent properties), or the date Noble enters into a binding agreement for the sale of the property or experiences a change of control, provided the Back-in Right is not affected.
The transaction is subject to legal requirements and the approval of the TSX Venture Exchange. Noble and Canada Nickel Company Inc. plan to release further details as the transaction progresses.
Vance White, President and CEO of Noble, expressed enthusiasm for reacquiring the gold prospect. "We are very pleased to be proceeding with the repurchase of an excellent gold prospect on which we know from past work carried out by Noble of an existing gold zone but also a number of untested parallel zones," White stated. "We believe this to be a very valuable asset to Noble in a space we expect improving forecasted gold price in these uncertain geopolitical times."
The Lucas Township Gold Project is located approximately 30 km north of Timmins, Ontario, a region known for its significant gold production. The project is also situated near the Kidd Creek Mine and the Crawford Nickel Resource, currently under development by Canada Nickel Company Inc. Timmins offers comprehensive industry services, supplies, and infrastructure, with access via Highway 655, along with available power and water. Noble has also signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with local First Nations.
In 2018, Noble completed 15 diamond drill holes totaling 3,184 meters, covering a 650m strike length of a gold mineralized structure/trend identified from previous surveys. Historical drill-hole collars were located, and three were twinned. No further work has been conducted since 2018.
The Lucas Gold Project features six distinct IP anomalous trends requiring further exploration. Only one trend has been investigated by diamond drilling to date. Gold mineralization at the Lucas Gold Deposit is interpreted as structurally controlled, occurring in discrete lenses within the pyrite plus gold mineralized tuffaceous unit.
Future work on the drill-ready project will involve drilling on the initial IP Anomaly to further define gold mineralization and testing the other five undrilled IP anomalies for similar gold mineralization.
