Scandium Canada Ltée (TSX-V: SCD) will participate in key mining and critical minerals events in the coming weeks to promote the company's commercial and strategic positioning ahead of the Crater Lake project pre-feasibility study, expected to be released in the summer of 2026.

Scandium Canada’s Chief Science Officer and Head of Scandium+, Luc Duchesne, Ph.D., President and COO Pierre Neatby, and CEO Guy Bourassa will represent Scandium Canada and Scandium+ at events focusing on critical minerals, mining in Northern Quebec, investors, and a trade mission to Europe.

Duchesne will speak at the Critical Minerals Institute’s CMI Summit 5 on May 14 in Toronto. His presentation, “Scandium: A Case Study for Value-Added Opportunities in Critical Minerals Development,” will discuss the shift in the critical minerals sector from extraction-focused projects to integrated value chains.

Scandium Canada has also been selected to participate in the Quebec Economic Mission on Critical and Strategic Minerals in Europe, organized by Investissement Québec International (IQI) and the Ministry of Natural Resources and Forests (MRNF). Neatby will represent the company at the German and Belgian portions of the mission from May 18-21, participating in roundtables and B2B meetings with industry and institutional stakeholders in the aerospace, automotive, and defense sectors. The mission will visit Munich, Brussels, and Paris from May 18-22.

Bourassa will present an update on the Crater Lake project at the Nunavik Mining Workshop on May 21. His presentation, “The Crater Lake Project: Towards the Prefeasibility Study,” will cover project timelines, the strategic decision to establish the hydrometallurgical plant in Schefferville, and collaborative work with the Naskapi Nation to assess the location and social acceptability of a potential access road between Schefferville and the Crater Lake mine site.

Scandium Canada will also participate in THE Mining Investment of the North from June 2-4 in Quebec City. The event brings together over 100 mining companies and facilitates private meetings between companies, international investors, and government authorities in the mining sector.

The Scandium Canada management team will be available throughout these events to meet with current and potential investors, business partners, and stakeholders.

Scandium+ focuses on the research, development, and commercialization of innovative uses of scandium. Scandium Canada aims to become a market leader in scandium while building a responsible economy through innovation and agility. Scandium Canada’s ultimate goal is to bring the world’s primary source of scandium into production and enable the development and commercialization of aluminum-scandium alloys (Al-Sc). The company relies on its Al-Sc alloy development division and its Crater Lake mining project development to meet the demand for lighter, environmentally friendly, durable and efficient materials.
