Copper One Resources Corp. Completes First Phase 2 Drill Hole at Majuba Hill Project
October 30, 2026 — Leads & Copy — Copper One Resources Corp. announced the completion of drill hole MHB-39, the first hole of its Phase 2 diamond drilling program at its Majuba Hill Copper-Silver-Gold Project in Pershing County, Nevada. The program is planned for up to 10,000 feet.
MHB-39 reached a final depth of 1,460 feet, exceeding its originally planned depth of 1,250 feet. Persistent silicification prompted the technical team to extend the hole to further evaluate the alteration encountered at depth. Visually identified native copper was observed earlier in the hole, though these observations remain subject to laboratory confirmation.
The hole terminated in moderately silicified rhyolite containing stockwork tourmaline veinlets, trace fine-grained pyrite and trace sphalerite. These observations will be incorporated into the Company’s geological interpretation to help guide subsequent drilling.
David Greenway, President and Chief Executive Officer of Copper One, stated that completing MHB-39 beyond its planned depth provides additional geological information as Phase 2 advances. He noted that the visual secondary copper minerals and persistent silicification warrant further evaluation through detailed logging, sampling and analysis. The program aims to better understand the distribution of mineralization and alteration across priority targets.
The Phase 2 Program comprises up to 10,000 feet of HQ/PQ diamond core drilling. The initial approximately 5,000 feet have been contracted to Evolve Exploration Nevada, LLC (“Evolve”) using one portable HQ/PQ core drill. Drilling operations are planned on a continuous, two-shift basis, 24 hours per day, seven days per week. The maximum planned hole depth under the initial scope is approximately 1,700 feet, with final details to be determined by the technical team.
Copper One engaged Evolve to undertake the drilling. Each Evolve drill rig operates on EVX Connect, Evolve’s real-time operational platform. Through EVX Connect, Copper One expects to receive live drilling metrics, digital PLOD reporting, drill-hole coordinate tracking, streamlined invoicing and high-quality photographs of drill core. Information will be accessible through web and mobile interfaces, providing timely visibility into drilling progress and field operations.
The Majuba Hill Copper-Silver-Gold Project is located in Pershing County, Nevada. Nevada ranked first globally on the Investment Attractiveness Index in the Fraser Institute’s Annual Survey of Mining Companies 2025. The property comprises approximately 9,684 acres and is situated approximately 70 miles southwest of Winnemucca and 156 miles northeast of Reno. The project benefits from excellent infrastructure, including year-round road access, nearby electrical power, water, and access to a skilled mining workforce. Majuba Hill is a past-producing copper mine with an extensive exploration database, including approximately 95,000 feet of historical drilling.
Exploration has outlined a large copper-silver-gold hydrothermal mineralized system that remains open for expansion. Current exploration is focused on advancing the Company's geological model through systematic drilling, geological mapping, geochemical sampling, and structural interpretation. Additional drilling and technical studies will be required to further define the extent and economic potential of the mineralized system.
The scientific and technical information in this news release has been reviewed and approved by Larry Segerstrom, M.Sc. (Geology), CPG, a non-independent consulting geologist to the Company and a Qualified Person as defined by National Instrument 43-101. Assay results from the completed 2026 Phase 1 drill program remain pending.
