Cariboo Rose Reports Drilling Results at Lightning Strike Gold Silver Project
Vancouver, BC — January 22, 2026 — Leads & Copy — Cariboo Rose Resources Ltd. (TSX: CRB) has announced the results of two diamond drill holes at its Lightning Strike Gold Silver Project in British Columbia.
The project, 100% owned by Cariboo Rose, is located 60 kms northeast of 100 Mile House, British Columbia, and covers 4,193 hectares. The two drill holes totaled 568 meters.
Drill hole details:
LSD25-01: UTM E 666557, UTM N 5761181, Elevation 1037m, Azimuth 270°, Dip -65°, Length 313m
LSD25-02: UTM E 666416, UTM N 5761625, Elevation 1051m, Azimuth 270°, Dip -65°, Length 255m
The Lightning Strike project is believed to host orogenic sediment-hosted gold-silver mineralization similar to the Muruntau and Sukhoi Log deposits in Asia. It is also geologically similar to the Spanish Mountain and Frasergold (FG) occurrences to the north.
The project is situated on the eastern edge of the Quesnel Terrane, bordered by the Eureka Thrust. The property is primarily underlain by argillaceous Nicola Group sediments and Nicola volcanic rocks.
Historical work by Homestake Mining in 1984 and Skygold Resources Ltd. (now Spanish Mountain Gold Corp.) identified gold and silver mineralization in the western claim block, with trenching uncovering quartz-carbonate boulders containing up to 25.1 g/t gold and 216.8 g/t silver. Drilling from 2008 to 2010 included 31 diamond drill holes, all returning mineralized gold intercepts. Cariboo Rose began staking and working on the claims in 2019, conducting geological reconnaissance, soil sampling, claim expansion, and two reverse circulation drill programs.
Summary of 2025 diamond drill results:
Hole ID: LSD25-01
95.1-102.4m: 7.3m intercept, 0.71 g/t Gold, 45.5 g/t Silver, 1.62 g/t Gold Eq.
229.0-273.4m: 44.4m intercept, 0.77 g/t Gold, 37.1 g/t Silver, 1.51 g/t Gold Eq. including 255.1-267.0m: 11.9m intercept, 1.58 g/t Gold, 109.7 g/t Silver, 3.77 g/t Gold Eq.
Hole ID: LSD25-02
182.9-187.0m: 4.1m intercept, 0.44 g/t Gold, 4.53 g/t Silver, 0.53 g/t Gold Eq.
192.0-199.9m: 7.9m intercept, 0.85 g/t Gold, 3.62 g/t Silver, 0.92 g/t Gold Eq.
215.0-221.5m: 6.5m intercept, 1.17 g/t Gold, 6.25 g/t Silver, 1.30 g/t Gold Eq.
Gold Equivalent is calculated using $4,000/oz gold and $80/oz silver.
Hole LSD25-01 showed a 44.4 m intercept grading 0.77 g/t gold and 37.1 g/t silver (1.51 g/t gold equivalent).
Historical drill intercepts at Lightning Strike include 0.77 g/t gold over 54.0 m, 3.42 g/t gold and 228.1 g/t silver over 5.0 m, 2.88 g/t gold over 24.0 m and 8.84 g/t gold over 7.5 m. Silver values were not consistently reported in these older results sourced from BC Government assessment reports.
Core samples were analyzed by MSA LABS of Langley, BC, using Photon Assay instrumentation.
