Angkor Resources Corp. Plans 2,800 Meters of Diamond Drilling at Andong Bor Copper-Gold Target in Cambodia

GRANDE PRAIRIE, ALBERTA — June 24, 2026 — Leads & Copy — ANGKOR RESOURCES CORP. (TSXV: ANK) announced plans for 2,800 meters of diamond drilling at the Andong Bor copper-gold target in Cambodia, with a focus on the Thmei North prospect, a one-square-kilometer copper anomaly. The drilling program is scheduled over the next eight months and is designed around Cambodia's distinct seasons.

The initial phase, commencing June 24, 2026, will involve 1,200 meters of drilling across three holes. This first stage is planned to coincide with the current dry season in Cambodia, aiming for completion before the onset of heavy rains. The remaining 1,600 meters of the program are slated for early 2027, after the fields become dry and agricultural crops have been harvested.

The three initial holes will be oriented to the east to optimize intersections with the mineralized beds. Core samples obtained from the drilling will undergo logging, photography, and sampling. Selected intervals will be dispatched for assay analysis as the program progresses.

The Andong Bor license spans 100.28 square kilometers across the Oddar Meanchey and Banteay Meanchey provinces. Previous drilling in 2025 indicated that the primary structures controlling mineralization possess a north-northwest strike and a steeply west-dipping orientation. The planned eastward drilling aims to effectively intersect these mineralized beds.

According to a modified copper porphyry model, the most significant mineralization is situated within potassic-altered sediments adjacent to feldspar porphyry diorite dikes, which vary in width from a few meters to tens of meters. By drilling eastward, the Company anticipates maximizing interceptions of mineralized sedimentary rock as the drilling progresses through alternating intrusive and sedimentary lithologies.

Dennis Ouellette, VP Exploration, stated, “Our 2025 drilling told us how this system is oriented. The structures controlling mineralization are north-northwest striking and steeply west dipping, so by drilling to the east we put the core across the mineralized beds rather than down them. The best copper sits in the potassic-altered sediments next to the feldspar porphyry diorite dikes, and an eastward orientation lets us cut the most of that favorable host as we pass in and out of the intrusive dikes.”

Regarding the Thmei South prospect, further auger soil geochemistry is required to extend the existing copper geochemical anomaly southward and ascertain its full extent. Thmei South is designated as the focus for subsequent drill programs.

Dennis Ouellette, B.Sc., P.Geo., a member of The Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Alberta (APEGA #104257), has reviewed and approved the technical content of this document in his capacity as the Company’s VP Exploration and Qualified Person as defined by National Instrument 43-101 (“NI 43-101”).

ANGKOR Resources Corp. is a public company listed on the TSX-Venture Exchange, actively engaged in mineral and energy exploration and development in Cambodia. Its mineral subsidiary, Angkor Gold Corp. Co., Ltd., holds two exploration licenses in Cambodia with multiple copper and gold prospects. The company's energy subsidiary, EnerCam Resources Co., Ltd., operates an onshore oil and gas license, Block VIII, in southwest Cambodia. EnerCam is pursuing oil and gas exploration activities, having completed 2D-seismic in 2025 and identified multiple drill targets. Following the submission of an Environmental Impact Assessment, the Company plans to drill Cambodia’s first privately financed onshore exploratory oil and gas wells under a Production Sharing Contract.
