Ventripoint Diagnostics and UniDoc Health to Explore Collaboration for Remote Cardiac Assessment

This initiative seeks to integrate Ventripoint's VMS+™ platform with UniDoc's connected-care infrastructure to create scalable remote cardiac assessment programs.

The proposed collaboration is designed to assess how Ventripoint’s VMS+™ platform can become an integral part of remote cardiac assessment programs delivered through UniDoc’s expanding connected-care network. This could lead to new deployment opportunities for VMS+ and expand access to advanced cardiac imaging for patients with limited access to specialist cardiovascular services.

Under the MOU, UniDoc's configurable H3 Health Cubes, virtual-care software, and diagnostic-device integrations are intended to be combined with Ventripoint’s AI-enabled VMS+™ cardiac imaging platform. The parties plan to evaluate a hub-and-spoke model. In this model, community-based screening and echocardiographic image acquisition at spoke locations would connect with qualified cardiology hubs for review, interpretation, referral, and follow-up.

This initiative aligns with Ventripoint’s strategy to broaden access to advanced cardiac imaging through decentralized care models. The aim is to improve access to specialist cardiovascular assessment in remote, rural, Indigenous, and other underserved communities, where clinically appropriate and permitted by regulations.

Ventripoint’s VMS+™ platform utilizes artificial intelligence and proprietary cardiac modeling technology to transform standard two-dimensional echocardiography images into three-dimensional cardiac models. These models provide quantitative measurements of the structure and function of all four heart chambers. Unlike conventional echocardiography, which often relies on qualitative assessment, VMS+ is designed to deliver accurate volumetric cardiac measurements comparable to cardiac MRI using standard ultrasound images. This makes advanced ventricular analysis more accessible in community and remote-care settings.

The parties intend to assess the technical and operational feasibility of offering VMS+™ as an optional cardiac imaging component within selected UniDoc Health Cube configurations and associated virtual-care deployments. Initial activities will include identifying potential pilot locations, target populations, clinical purposes, and referral pathways. They will also assess equipment, training, installation, connectivity, interoperability, cybersecurity, privacy, and data-flow requirements.

Furthermore, the collaboration will focus on designing workflows that connect community-based image acquisition and virtual consultation with qualified cardiology specialists. They will evaluate applications in cardiovascular screening, early disease detection, longitudinal disease management, and specialist consultations. The identification of potential healthcare, government, Indigenous, non-governmental, research, and funding partners for pilot or demonstration programs is also planned.

Any future pilot or commercial deployment would necessitate a separate written project plan or definitive agreement covering clinical governance, regulatory requirements, informed consent, privacy, cybersecurity, data residency, training, quality assurance, patient follow-up, costs, commercial terms, and implementation responsibilities.

The MOU is non-exclusive and generally non-binding, with the exception of certain customary provisions. Neither party is obligated to purchase, sell, license, integrate, or deploy any product or service, and there is no guarantee that a definitive agreement will be reached or that any pilot or commercial program will proceed.
