Copper One Resources to Acquire Labrador Nickel-Copper-Cobalt Property

Vancouver, BC – October 7, 2026 – Leads & Copy – Copper One Resources Corp. has entered into an agreement to acquire a 100% interest in the Sword & Gossan Mineral Properties in west-central Labrador, Newfoundland and Labrador. The acquisition aims to expand the company's portfolio of critical metals exploration opportunities.

The property, located approximately 90 kilometres north of Churchill Falls, comprises ten mineral licences totalling 156 claims and covering about 3,900 hectares. It encompasses the historical Sword (Michikamau) nickel-copper-cobalt project, where previous exploration identified a magmatic sulphide system. While historical surface sampling and drilling revealed mineralization, multiple electromagnetic conductors remain untested, presenting a basis for further technical evaluation.

David Greenway, President and CEO of Copper One, stated that the historical work provides a foundation for assessing the property's exploration potential, highlighting the presence of untested conductors and identified mineralization.

Under the terms of the purchase and sale agreement, Copper One will pay the vendor CAD $3,650,000 in cash. The payment will be structured with an initial CAD $1,150,000 due one business day from the effective date of the agreement, and a subsequent CAD $2,500,000 due within six months of execution. Additionally, the company will make two advance royalty payments of CAD $200,000 each to the vendor on the first and second anniversaries of the effective date, totaling CAD $400,000. No company securities will be issued as part of this acquisition.

The property is subject to an existing 2% net smelter returns royalty (NSR), of which 1% can be purchased for CAD $2,000,000, reducing the NSR to 1%. The acquisition is contingent upon customary conditions, including satisfactory due diligence, board approvals, receipt of third-party consents, and acceptance by the Canadian Securities Exchange (CSE).

The Sword & Gossan property consists of ten mineral licences, seven in the Sword project area and three in the Gossan area. The property is prospective for intrusive-hosted, ultramafic–mafic magmatic nickel-copper-cobalt sulphide mineralization, with potential for associated gold, platinum, and palladium. Historical exploration between 2005 and 2007 included airborne surveys, geological mapping, surface sampling, and an initial diamond drill program. This historical work identified multiple untested conductors, nickel-copper-cobalt mineralization at surface, and confirmed mineralization in drilling at the Juno conductive zone.

The property lies within the same geological province as the Voisey’s Bay nickel-copper-cobalt mine. Copper One is advancing its portfolio through systematic exploration, modern geological modelling, and disciplined technical evaluation, aiming to create long-term shareholder value.

In separate announcements, Copper One has extended its advertising agreement with Gold Standard Media, LLC for an additional six months. The company has also engaged Interactive Offers, LLC for digital marketing and investor awareness services, Stockwatch for sponsored email broadcast and advertising services, Revivxl Collective Inc. for digital marketing and branding consulting, 1248787 B.C. Ltd. for public markets research and development consulting, bullVestor Medien GmbH for marketing services, The Maple Index Inc. for market awareness services, and Market Equities Limited for corporate communications and digital marketing services. The company has also announced the issuance of 3,450,000 restricted stock units (RSUs) to officers, directors, and consultants.

The scientific and technical information in this news release has been reviewed and approved by Larry Segerstrom, M.Sc. (Geology), CPG, a consulting geologist for the Company and a Qualified Person as defined under National Instrument 43-101.
