Maximus Metals Reports Significant Polymetallic Geochemical Signature at Gaspard Project

Vancouver, British Columbia — August 6, 2026 — Leads & Copy — Maximus Metals Inc. (CSE: MM) announced today that results from its Phase 1 property-wide geochemical program at the Gaspard project in south-central British Columbia have defined a significant polymetallic soil geochemical signature. The project is located approximately 60 kilometres west of Williams Lake.

The completed program, initially announced on June 30, 2026, has received and interpreted all analytical results. The findings indicate a coherent, property-scale signature comprising copper, zinc, lead, and silver, alongside gold and pathfinder elements including arsenic, antimony, tungsten, molybdenum, and bismuth. This association of elements, and its spatial coincidence across multiple metals, is a recognized indicator in British Columbia for identifying hidden porphyry copper-gold and epithermal gold-silver systems.

The company highlighted several key findings from the property-wide soil sampling, which followed up on 2025 Mobile Metal Ion (MMI) survey anomalies. Polymetallic anomalies in copper, zinc, lead, and silver were defined, with coincident gold and pathfinder element responses detected across a substantial portion of the tenure. Copper-in-soil values were notably elevated, defining a broad west-central anomalous domain.

Zinc-in-soil values reached up to 169 parts per million (ppm), and lead-in-soil values reached up to 8.3 ppm, forming a base-metal domain that coincides with the copper anomaly. Several strongly anomalous gold-in-soil values were also reported, including results of 91, 57, and 54 parts per billion (ppb) gold, situated within broader zones of low-level anomalism above 6 ppb gold. These gold anomalies define two distinct northeast-trending corridors, each approximately 800 metres in strike length, which are coincident with interpreted second-order extensional faults that could potentially host epithermal mineralization.

Supportive pathfinder element data was also identified, including arsenic (up to 8 ppm), antimony (up to 2.1 ppm), tungsten (up to 0.51 ppm), molybdenum (up to 2.5 ppm), and silver (up to 0.66 ppm), clustering in the central and western areas of the project. These results are intended to guide the planning and prioritization for the remainder of the 2026 program and the upcoming 2027 exploration season.

Santiago Suarez, CEO of Maximus Metals, stated that the Phase 1 geochemical program was designed to build upon the 2025 MMI geochemistry. He noted that the 2025 results identified three anomalous areas requiring follow-up, and the 2026 work has refined these targets, generating several strongly anomalous zones for copper, lead, and zinc. Suarez expressed satisfaction with the polymetallic nature of the soil geochemistry and confirmed that this data will be used to guide further exploration at the Gaspard property.

Copper and base metal results defined three strong features in the western, central, and southern portions of the claim group. Lower intensity copper anomalies were observed alongside elevated zinc, lead, and molybdenum values in the northeast and southwest areas. The company considers the broad cluster of copper anomalies to be potentially characteristic of a large mineralizing system. The overlapping domains of copper, zinc, lead, and silver with gold corridors are interpreted by the Company as potentially indicating a zoned polymetallic system. In intrusion-related and epithermal models, base metal anomalies may represent deeper parts of a mineralizing system, and their presence at surface is considered an encouraging indicator that a hypothesized system may be relatively near surface.

Fire assay gold results further defined two anomalous areas. The primary anomaly is a northeast-trending corridor of approximately 800 metres of strike in the central project area, with gold-in-soil values reaching a project peak of 91 ppb Au, including multiple stations in the 10 ppb to 60 ppb Au range. A second, discrete gold response of up to 57 ppb Au was found approximately 1.3 kilometres northwest of the main corridor. A broad halo of samples ranging from 5 ppb to 18 ppb Au surrounds these anomalous corridors. The Company considers these gold results and distributions potentially indicative of mineralized systems at depth beneath cover, particularly given the coincident pathfinder response. Gold is found coincident with arsenic, antimony, and tungsten, a signature considered favourable for intrusion-related and epithermal style mineralization.

Interpolated anomaly maps for the principal base metal and pathfinder elements have been generated to aid in target definition. These maps show that zinc, arsenic, and antimony share a common west-central domain, while molybdenum and tungsten form discrete clusters in the central and southern portions of the project area. The Company views the Gaspard results as encouraging, noting that the spatial zonation of base metal, gold, and pathfinder domains provides a strong basis for refining the geological model and prioritizing targets for future exploration.

The complete multi-element dataset will be utilized to rank targets across the property for subsequent follow-up work. This may include infill soil sampling on tightened centres over the principal corridors, geological mapping and prospecting traverses along the intrusive contact, ground geophysical surveys, and applications for trenching and drill permits.

Jasper Mowatt, MIMMM and MAusIMM, a consultant to the Company and a qualified person as defined by National Instrument 43-101, has reviewed and approved the scientific and technical information in this news release. Mr. Mowatt is not independent of the Company, as he is one of the optionors from whom the Company acquired its option over the Project and is a shareholder.

Soil samples were analyzed by SGS Canada Inc. at its ISO/IEC 17025 accredited laboratory in Burnaby, British Columbia. Analyses included 51-element aqua regia digestion with ICP-AES and ICP-MS finish (method GE_ICM21B20) and for gold by 30-gram fire assay with AAS finish (method GE_FAA30V5). Analytical batches included certified reference materials, blanks, and pulp replicates. The qualified person has verified the data disclosed, including sampling, analytical, and test data, by reviewing analytical certificates, quality control data, and sample collection procedures, identifying no limitations in the verification process.

Maximus Metals Inc. is a mineral exploration company focused on the acquisition, exploration, and evaluation of resource properties.
