Western Star Resources Expands Flagship Property with Discovery Property Acquisition

July 11, 2025 — NewsWall — Western Star Resources Inc. (CSE: WSR) has acquired the Discovery Property, located approximately 50 km southeast of Revelstoke, British Columbia, increasing its flagship property by 69.4%.

The acquisition encompasses 1942.10 hectares directly adjacent to Western Star's existing 2797.96-hectare property. CEO and President Blake Morgan stated the acquisition allows the company to focus on its planned 2025 drill program, with drill permits already in place.

The Discovery Property features three known showings: the Glenside Showing, the Muskateer Showing, and the Copper Mountain Showing, each with unique geological characteristics and historical exploration activities.

The property is underlain by the Badshot Formation, a thick Cambrian limestone. A 2012 AEROTEM airborne geophysical survey indicated a natural extension from the Western Star Property to the Discovery Property.

The acquisition terms include the issuance of 3,500,000 common shares and a cash payment of $75,000. The Consideration Shares will be subject to resale restrictions.

Derrick Strickland, a shareholder and a “Qualified Person” for the purposes of National Instrument 43-101, has reviewed and approved the scientific and technical information in the release.

The company will seek approval from a majority of its disinterested shareholders as the transaction will result in the creation of a Control Person. Additional information is available on SEDAR at www.sedarplus.ca under the Company’s profile.
