Blende Silver Corp. Mobilizes Field Crews to Yukon Project for Phase 1 Drilling of IP Anomalies

VANCOUVER, CANADA — August 19, 2026 — Leads & Copy — Blende Silver Corp. is mobilizing field crews to its 100%-owned Blende Silver-Zinc-Lead Project in north-central Yukon to begin the first phase of drilling. This initial drilling aims to test the Project’s 3D induced polarization (IP) chargeability anomalies, with the first drill hole(s) expected to commence within approximately 10 days. This program targets the Central Zone, a roughly 2 km corridor situated between the Company’s West Zone and East Zone deposits.

The Blende Project hosts an existing NI 43-101 mineral resource and is recognized as one of Western Canada's larger known carbonate-hosted silver-zinc-lead occurrences. The current drill program is designed to determine if mineralization extends beyond the currently defined zones. The Company's drill contractor is currently mobilizing to the site to conduct an equipment inventory and finalize preparations for drilling.

These upcoming holes will be the first to directly investigate the high-priority 3D IP chargeability anomalies identified in the Company's recently completed survey. Notably, in the Lower Central Zone and New Mountain Top areas, the interpreted chargeability anomalies are several times greater in areal extent than the chargeability response observed over the defined West Zone mineralization. The Company anticipates completing one to two holes before the current field season concludes in mid-September 2026, depending on site and weather conditions.

This initial phase is part of a planned multi-phase drill program guided by the Company’s 3D IP targeting model. Phase 1 commences this summer, will pause over the winter, and is slated to resume and expand in spring and summer 2027. During the winter break, Blende Silver plans to utilize the seasonal winter road to mobilize equipment for establishing camp infrastructure and an airstrip, positioning the Project for a more extensive exploration program in subsequent phases.

The upcoming drilling will directly test the chargeability anomalies interpreted from the 3D IP survey. The survey identified a chargeability response coincident with low resistivity over the West Zone, which is spatially associated with known silver-zinc-lead mineralization and serves as a calibration reference. Additionally, the survey identified multiple, significantly larger, untested anomalies in the Lower Central Zone and New Mountain Top areas, appearing several times larger than the West Zone response. These anomalies extend to the edges of the surveyed grid, with no survey coverage beyond. The Company has ranked these drill targets based on a chargeability high coincident with low resistivity, a combination that may indicate sulphide mineralization.

Prior analysis of inversion data suggests that historical drilling in the Central Zone may have been positioned between two distinct chargeability anomalies rather than directly testing the strongest responses. Blende Silver's interpretation is that these observations warrant drill testing for potential extensions of mineralization between the West Zone and the East Zone, with this drilling campaign aimed at testing the continuity of mineralization between these zones.

We aim to mobilize equipment over the winter road this winter to build camp and airstrip infrastructure through the coming spring and summer to support a substantially larger, sustained program across a district-scale property. This program is directed at testing for extensions to the existing mineral resource, and there is no certainty that it will result in any increase to that resource.”

The Blende Project is described as hosting the largest carbonate-hosted silver-zinc-lead deposit in the Yukon, according to M. Robinson and C.I. Godwin in Economic Geology, 1995. A mineral resource estimate prepared in accordance with National Instrument 43-101 at a 1.5% ZnEq cutoff, disclosed on May 20, 2021, reported an Indicated resource of 4,643 kt with 4.60% ZnEq and an Inferred resource of 42,243 kt with 4.49% ZnEq. This estimate was prepared by Sue Bird, P.Eng., of Moose Mountain Technical Services. The mineral resource figures are reproduced from that disclosure and have not been updated. The estimate is based on assumptions including silver at US$26 per ounce, zinc at US$1.30 per pound, and lead at US$1.00 per pound, and the Company has not undertaken a re-estimation to reflect current metal prices.
