IDEX Metals Corp. Commences 10,000-Metre Drill Program at Freeze Property

Vancouver, B.C., June 24, 2026 — Leads & Copy — IDEX Metals Corp. announced that Geotech Drilling Services Ltd. has begun drilling at the North Breccia, a key target area within the Company’s Freeze Property. This marks the commencement of a fully-funded, 10,000-metre drill program designed to explore a large magmatic-hydrothermal system. The company has also completed an expanded 90.4 line-kilometer Induced Polarization (IP) geophysical survey, with final results anticipated shortly to aid in target refinement during the drilling campaign.

The 2026 exploration program aims to achieve three primary objectives: continue drilling along the Kismet Corridor (including North Breccia, Kismet, and Frostfall) to test for a large porphyry system; define the Kismet Copper target, assessing its extent and grade distribution; and advance existing targets to drill-ready status while generating new ones for the 2027 season.

Clayton Fisher, CEO and Director of IDEX Metals Corp., stated, “IDEX is now executing on its clear and fully-funded game plan to advance Freeze from concept through to a systematic discovery campaign. This is slated to be the largest and most comprehensive exploration program in the Company’s history, with approximately 10,000 meters of drilling, extensive geological mapping, and a 2,500-sample Phase I soil and rock program. Our strategy is disciplined and goal-oriented: test the highest-priority geochemical and geophysical targets, define the Kismet target zone, and advance new and existing targets to drill-ready status. We believe Freeze has the scale, geological attributes, and target diversity required to host a significant North American copper deposit. IDEX is very excited to have commenced the catalyst-rich 2026 exploration program.”

IDEX’s 2026 exploration strategy at Freeze integrates drilling, detailed geological mapping, soil geochemistry, and rock-chip sampling, building on overlapping datasets that support the existence of a mineralized magmatic-hydrothermal system on the Property.

The program focuses on four key workstreams: refining targets using results from the completed geophysical survey; exploration drilling focused on the magmatic-hydrothermal system near the North Breccia and Kismet targets; definition drilling at Kismet to evaluate its continuity, extent, and grade distribution; and property-wide target generation through mapping and sampling.

The Company believes that the combination of 2025 drill data, surface geochemistry, geological mapping, and historical work provides a robust technical foundation for the 2026 program, aiming to transition Freeze from broad-scale target definition to a focused drill campaign for discovery and resource potential evaluation.

The 2026 drill program is designed to encompass approximately 10,000 metres across about 20 holes. Drilling has commenced at North Breccia with one core rig, and a second rig is expected in July to expand activities to other priority targets. Planned holes are expected to average 500 metres, with potential depths up to 1,200 metres, allowing for flexibility based on geological observations and assay results.

Priority drill targets include North Breccia as the primary porphyry discovery target, and the Kismet Copper Oxide Zone for definition drilling and future resource potential. Secondary targets such as the CM Target and Shiver Target will also be tested and advanced based on integrated evidence and exploration work.

A second core objective of the 2026 campaign is to define the geometry, continuity, grade distribution, and scale potential of the Kismet Copper Target. This will involve integrating drilling, geophysics, mapping, sampling, and geological modeling, building on the 2025 program. The aim is to determine if the Kismet target can be advanced towards future resource definition work, though no preliminary mineral resource estimate has been completed, and there is no certainty that further exploration will result in the definition of a mineral resource.

In addition to the 2026 drill program, IDEX plans a property-wide mapping and geochemical sampling program to advance existing targets and generate new ones for the 2027 exploration season. This includes approximately 2,250 soil samples, 250 rock samples, and over 60 creek traverses.

The Company expects to integrate results from the 2026 Phase I sampling program and mapping traverses into a ranked 2027 target pipeline by the end of the 2026 field season. Target advancement criteria include anomalous geochemistry, favorable geological settings, supportive geophysical responses, evidence of scale potential, and practical access considerations.

The 90.4-line-kilometer IP survey across the Kismet Corridor and Shiver Target areas has been completed, with data processing and interpretation underway. Results are expected imminently and will be used to support drill targeting.

Near-term catalysts include the reporting of IP results, 10,000 metres of drilling, completion of detailed surface lithological maps and geochemical data, and initial assay results from drilling at North Breccia.
