Wedgemount Resources Announces Production Enhancement Program
Vancouver, BC — April 17, 2026 — Leads & Copy — Wedgemount Resources Corp. is launching a production enhancement program following an oversubscribed financing. The company's Permian Basin oil and gas leases include 131 vertical production wells and 14 injectors over 22,000 acres in Runnels and Coleman counties, Texas.
The program will begin with workovers on the McBeth and Rhone injection wells. These wells provide water disposal for 22 wells in the Crews and Talpa operating areas. Wedgemount anticipates restoring regular production to these 22 wells after the workovers.
The Davis #1 and #2 wells, Wedgemount's top producers since 2023, are among the 22 wells slated for reactivation. The company believes all wells are strong candidates for optimization through specialty chemical treatments.
Following the Crews and Talpa reactivations, Wedgemount will upgrade gas compression facilities at the 62-well Echo field. Limited capital access has restricted Echo field production since its acquisition in late 2024. The company anticipates productivity and reserve recovery gains from optimizing the Echo wells.
Well reactivations and injector improvements are planned for the Novice operating area in late spring and summer 2026. The Novice area contains 41 producing vertical wells and nine injectors.
Wedgemount estimates over 300 drilling locations on its leases, based on allowable 40-acre well spacing. The company intends to grow through future development of these locations, after optimizing its existing vertical production wells.
Wedgemount Resources is focused on acquiring, developing, and exploiting energy projects in the southern USA to maximize shareholder value.
