Rackla Metals Launches Airborne Survey at Lentung Tungsten-Rare Earth Project

(TSX-V: RAK) has initiated a comprehensive high-resolution magnetic and radiometric airborne survey across its 155 km² Lentung tungsten–rare earth element project in the Northwest Territories. The survey is being conducted by Precision GeoSurveys Inc. using a helicopter platform, leveraging the company's expertise in low-level geophysical surveys in mountainous terrain.

This new survey builds on the success of a recent drone-based magnetic pilot survey over the main Lentung mineralized zones. That initial work indicated a strong correlation between magnetic highs and known tungsten mineralization, suggesting the presence of pyrrhotite and other magnetic minerals within the skarn system. The pilot survey also identified previously unknown magnetic anomalies between the Emma-Western Skarn-Stephen’s Ridge anomaly and the Far West anomaly. Two significant anomalies were found in the central part of the survey area, and the survey confirmed strong structural control on mineralization, evidenced by linear features oriented northwest-southeast and north-south.

“Given the success of the pilot survey in identifying the mineralized zones Union Carbide discovered by drilling, I am keen to see the results of the first property‑wide airborne geophysical survey ever completed at Lentung,” said Simon Ridgway, CEO of Rackla Metals. “Deploying modern multi‑sensor geophysics over both the Lentung tungsten prospects and the adjoining South Lened Rare Earths target will help our geological team unravel the complex structural and igneous architecture of our flagship property - and has the potential to lead us directly to new mineralized zones.”

Drilling is actively underway at Lentung, with over 2,000 meters of diamond drilling and 277 meters of reverse-circulation drilling completed to date. Assays for these holes are pending. Rackla Metals plans to complete 10,000 meters of drilling during the 2026 field season, weather permitting, with results from the initial holes expected in the coming weeks, followed by a steady flow of assay results.

The company notes that tungsten prices are reaching record highs, driven by Chinese export controls and increasing demand from the aerospace, industrial, and defense sectors. Tungsten's unique properties of hardness, density, and high melting point make it crucial for strengthening alloys, manufacturing abrasives and cutting tools, and producing corrosion-resistant electronic components.

The Lentung project is situated in a world-class tungsten belt, approximately 120 km south of the Mactung Tungsten deposit and 55 km north of the former Cantung tungsten mine. It is located 10 km from the Howards Pass access road. Previous exploration by Union Carbide between 1977 and 1982 involved 26,900 meters of drilling, leading to the discovery of 15 tungsten-bearing zones over a 15 km strike length. Rackla Metals holds a 100% interest in the Lentung project.
