Engineer Gold Mines Ltd. Mobilizes Crews and Equipment to Engineer and TAG Projects for Expanded Exploration Programs

Vancouver, BC, Canada — August 6, 2026 — Leads & Copy — Engineer Gold Mines Ltd. has mobilized crews, supplies, and equipment to its 100% owned Engineer Gold Project, situated 30 kilometres southwest of Atlin in northwestern British Columbia. The company is re-establishing and rehabilitating two existing 20-person camps at its Engineer Mine Project and the TAG Project to support its expanded 2026 exploration programs.

Both camps are already in place, having been constructed previously. The TAG camp has been unused since 2009, and the Engineer camp since 2021. The presence of these pre-existing, fully built, and paid-for camps provides a significant advantage, allowing Engineer Gold Mines to expedite its exploration initiatives by enabling full teams to be present at both sites in the near future.

The Engineer Gold Project spans approximately 18,319 hectares and is divided into three main target areas: the Engineer Gold Mine, the TAG Property, and the Wann River prospect.

The historic Engineer Gold Mine, a past-producing underground gold-silver operation, saw production between 1910 and 1952. During this period, it yielded approximately 14,263 tonnes of material with an average grade of 39.4 g/t gold and 19.5 g/t silver, according to BC Minfile 104M014.

In 2011, an Inferred Mineral Resource, defined under National Instrument 43-101 and encompassing only the Engineer and Double Decker veins, was completed. This historical resource, based on a 5.0 g/t gold cut-off, indicated an inferred resource of 25,000 ounces of gold at a grade of 19 g/t. The estimate, calculated using industry-standard practices, is considered reliable and demonstrates the property's mineral potential. It was determined using a long-section approach, projecting mineralized shoots based on surface exposure and underground development, with global grades derived from historical production figures. Dilution to a minimum stoping width of 1 meter was applied, and a density factor of 2.8 t/m3 was used. A comprehensive review of all historical data by an independent qualified person, along with additional exploration work including diamond drilling, is necessary to confirm these results and establish a current mineral resource estimate.

The TAG Property, located approximately 6 kilometres north of the Engineer Mine, is associated with a 6-kilometre-long, structurally controlled mineralized system linked to splays off the Llewellyn Fault. Historical diamond drilling results from TAG include Hole TAG06-23, which assayed 1.7 g/t Au and 5.1 g/t Ag over 26.7 meters, including 3.52 g/t Au over 4.7 meters. Hole TAG07-29 assayed 1.3 g/t Au and 5.9 g/t Ag over 35.0 meters, while TAG08-51 returned 1.8 g/t Au and 7.4 g/t Ag over 24.3 meters, and TAG08-59 yielded 1.5 g/t Au and 8.05 g/t Ag over 42.1 meters.

The Wann River prospect, situated 4 kilometres south of the Engineer Mine, is an underexplored target covering an area of approximately 800 metres by 180 metres. While mineralization at the Engineer Mine and TAG Property is characteristic of epithermal systems, Wann River is considered an orogenic gold target associated with the Llewellyn Fault. A quartz grab sample from the Lum showing returned 263 g/t gold and 1,350 g/t silver. Historic diamond drilling in 2011, comprising 17 holes, returned multiple gold and silver intercepts, including Hole WR030211 which assayed 11.3 g/t Au and 76.2 g/t Ag over 1 meter, and Hole WR040111 assaying 11.3 g/t Au and 94.8 g/t Ag over 1.0 meter. Surface sampling programs at Wann River have also reported significant gold, silver, and base metal values.
