NexMetals Mining Confirms Significant Mineralization at Selebi North, Botswana
Vancouver, BC — October 9, 2025 — Leads & Copy — NexMetals Mining (TSXV: NEXM) (NASDAQ: NEXM) announced on October 1, 2025, the confirmation of 32.60 meters of continuous mineralization at Selebi North South Limb, including 19.90 meters of massive sulphide across five sub-intervals, from drill hole SNUG-25-194.
The company owns two previously producing Cu-Ni-Co mines in Botswana. Exploration at Selebi began in 1959, leading to a major copper-nickel discovery in 1963 and subsequent mine development. Selebi North remains a focus of renewed drilling.
According to CEO Morgan Lekstrom, the results validate the down-plunge continuity and strengthen the geological model. These results will be incorporated into the updated MRE. The Selebi North Mine is serviced by a 3.5-meter diameter shaft and a twin 7° decline trucking ramp. Planned borehole electromagnetic (BHEM) surveys aim to characterize conductive trends.
Recent results from the Selkirk Mine in Botswana, including SMET-25-005 returning 219.00 metres of 1.03% CuEq (0.39% Cu, 0.33% Ni, 0.61 ppm Pd, 0.14 ppm Pt), also show mineralization outside the Mineral Resource Estimate (MRE).
Botswana President Duma Boko is seeking to diversify into non-diamond commodities, noting copper production as a key source of economic diversification.
The 32.6-meter intersection reported on October 1, 2025, is the thickest interval of mineralization drilled by NEXM in its 2025 Selebi resource expansion program.
