Ashley Gold Corp. Provides Comprehensive Business Update on Tak Patents Project
CALGARY, ALBERTA — September 17, 2026 — Leads & Copy — Ashley Gold Corp. (CSE: ASHL) provided a comprehensive business update detailing ongoing exploration and development at its Tak Patents project, including updates on drilling progress, LiDAR surveys, and historical exploration efforts. The company is actively working to unify key mineralized zones at the project.
The company has one Phase II drill hole outstanding (TAK-26-09, 67Z undercut) and seven Phase III holes pending. Seven Phase IV holes are planned, with hole TAK-26-17 currently underway. President Noah Komavli stated that crews are focused on unifying the 67Z and D99Z zones, building on efforts since acquiring the Tak Patents in early 2026. Phase IV drilling is expected to test high-priority Induced Polarization (IP) features east of the 67Z zone.
Ashley Gold Corp. has commissioned LiDAR surveys across two projects, including the Tak Patents, to enhance drilling planning and gain a deeper understanding of the terrain. These surveys will map geological features such as faults, shear zones, lithological contacts, and structural offsets that could host mineralization. The program, conducted in partnership with Cascade Copper Corp. to reduce mobilization costs, will utilize a helicopter-mounted Riegl VUX-240 scanner and a PhaseOne iXM 100MP camera. Data acquisition is slated for mid- to late September 2026, with deliverables expected approximately six to eight weeks later. Processing will be handled in-house by Pioneer Exploration Consultants Ltd.
The Tak Patents, situated northeast of the Goliath Gold Complex, have seen intermittent exploration since the early 1900s by companies including Lac Minerals and Cominco. Ashley Gold Corp. acquired the patents in January 2026 and subsequently conducted the first modern IP survey, which identified a significant resistive body. Drilling has focused on three key zones: D99Z, 67Z, and the Northern Trench Zone (NTZ).
The D99Z, initially explored in 1999, has been validated and expanded by a five-hole Phase I program in 2026, with surface mineralization width estimated at over 80 meters. The 67Z zone, where historical drilling in 2002 yielded significant gold intercepts, is being targeted by Phase II and III drilling. Phase II drilling on IP line 250 intersected visible gold and returned assays of 0.729 g/t Au over 38.75m. The NTZ, identified through prospecting, has revealed a high-grade gold zone with grab samples assaying up to 398 g/t Au and a surface expression traced for over 300 meters.
Historical exploration at the Tak Patents includes extensive surface trenching and magnetometer surveys in the 1940s and 1980s. Triex Resources drilled 10 holes between 1998-1999, with one intercept returning 2.082 g/t Au over 31.83 m. Southern Rio Resources optioned the property in 2002 and drilled eight holes, outlining mineralization over approximately 350 meters of strike length. Ashley Gold Corp.'s recent activities, beginning in January 2026, include acquiring the patents, engaging Abitibi Geophysics for an IP survey, and completing Phase 1 diamond drilling in April-May 2026, which confirmed and validated near-surface mineralization in the D99Z zone.
