Prismo Metals Appoints Leading Geologist Jamie J. Wilkinson to Enhance Silver King Project Exploration
Vancouver, British Columbia, June 9, 2026 — Leads & Copy — Prismo Metals Inc. (CSE: PRIZ) (OTCQB: PMOMF) has appointed Professor Jamie J. Wilkinson, a leading economic geologist and Senior Mineral Exploration Consultant, to enhance its application of advanced propylitic alteration mineral chemistry techniques at its Silver King project in Arizona. The Silver King project is located in the Pioneer Mining District near Superior, Arizona.
Professor Wilkinson will work alongside Prismo’s technical team, including Chief Exploration Officer Dr. Craig Gibson and Special Advisor Dr. Linus Keating. Their collaborative effort will focus on a detailed evaluation of the extensive propylitic “green rock” alteration halo that surrounds known mineralization and geophysical anomalies at Silver King. This halo, characterized by chlorite, epidote, and pyrite, signifies a large geochemical footprint that can extend several kilometers from a porphyry center. The alteration is particularly pronounced within the same Laramide-aged volcaniclastic breccias, sandstones, and Proterozoic dolerite sills that host the significant Resolution porphyry Cu-Mo deposit, situated only 3.4 kilometers away.
The program is structured into four integrated stages. Initially, Professor Wilkinson, in conjunction with Drs. Gibson and Keating, will strategically select approximately 20 optimal sample locations within the propylitic alteration zone. Site selection will prioritize existing mapping, pyrite halo distribution, hydrothermal breccias, geophysical targets, and proximity to known mineralization to maximize vectoring potential.
The second stage involves high-precision sampling and analysis. Representative samples will be collected and analyzed using state-of-the-art, in-situ techniques, including electron microprobe for major and minor elements and laser ablation ICP-MS (LA-ICP-MS) for trace elements. These analyses will be conducted by laboratories and staff experienced in these methods at the Natural History Museum in London, with a systematic grain-by-grain analysis of both chlorite and epidote.
The third stage focuses on quantitative vectoring and 3D modeling. Professor Wilkinson will employ the chlorite proximitor methodology, which he co-developed, alongside complementary epidote chemistry and chlorite geothermometry. Key element ratios and temperature-sensitive indicators are expected to vary systematically with distance from the porphyry center, allowing for the calculation of distance to the hydrothermal center with typical uncertainties of a few hundred meters. Discrimination methods using chlorite and epidote chemistry will be used to screen for false anomalies related to epithermal overprints. The integrated results will be used to generate robust 3D vector models pointing to the most likely location of the concealed porphyry copper-molybdenum system.
Finally, the fourth stage will involve technical reporting and drill targeting. Professor Wilkinson will deliver a comprehensive report interpreting all mineral chemistry data and identifying prioritized 3D drill targets. This will directly inform Prismo’s Phase 2 drilling program and help de-risk targeting in areas with post-mineral cover or distal propylitic alteration.
This approach is built upon the successful blind test of similar methodologies at the Resolution Copper deposit, where LA-ICP-MS chlorite data and proximitor calculations from propylitic samples accurately located the concealed porphyry center. Given the shared Laramide geology, alteration style, and district setting, these tools are considered highly applicable at Silver King.

Professor Jamie J. Wilkinson holds a PhD in Geology and specializes in the geochemistry of hydrothermal systems and the development of mineral chemistry tools for porphyry exploration. He is a Professor of Geology at Imperial College London and a co-founder of the London Centre for Ore Deposits and Exploration (LODE). He also serves as a senior consultant in mineral exploration globally for Barrick Mining Corp. (TSX: ABX). His work includes the development of the green rock targeting methodology and its successful application in various porphyry systems, including validation at Resolution, Arizona.
