Charbone Corporation Anticipates 155% Increase in Preliminary Q2 Gas Income

Varennes, Quebec, August 5, 2026 — Leads & Copy — CHARBONE CORPORATION (TSXV: CH; OTCQB: CHHYF; FSE: K47) announced today that preliminary gas income for the three-month period ending June 30, 2026, is anticipated to rise 155% to $0.5 million, up from $0.2 million in the preceding three-month period ending March 31, 2026. This income encompasses revenues from CHARBONE’s hydrogen production and regional supply hubs for all industrial gases.

The company plans to release its full financial and operational results for the second quarter of 2026 on Friday, August 28, 2026, after market close. Additionally, CHARBONE will host a webinar on Monday, August 31st, at 11:00 AM EDT for interested parties. Registration details are available via a provided link.

For the second quarter of 2026, CHARBONE expects to confirm significant industrial gas sales growth from both U.S. and Canadian markets. This growth is attributed to clean ultra-high purity (UHP) hydrogen sourced from the company’s Sorel-Tracy plant in Phase 1A, as well as UHP helium and UHP oxygen procured through partners. Demand has reportedly accelerated throughout the quarter, leading to increased recurring revenues and new customers. CHARBONE continues to enhance its full-stack platform, including its distribution equipment, to meet growing demand and anticipated future sales.

Preliminary highlights for Q2 2026 gas income include the projected 155% increase to $0.5 million, compared to $0.2 million in Q1 2026. For the first half of 2026, gas income is expected to reach $0.6 million, a 100% increase from $nil in the first half of 2025. Operating expenses in Q2 2026 are anticipated to remain comparable to Q1 2026, with continuous performance improvements expected without significant changes.

“Our team at CHARBONE is incredibly proud of the momentum we have built over the last quarter, which underscores our unwavering focus on long-term value creation. Through our targeted efforts in North America, we are not only expanding our operational footprint but also reaffirming our promise to deliver impactful, high purity and sustainable gas results that benefit our shareholders and the broader community alike,” said Benoit Veilleux, Chief Financial Officer and Corporate Secretary of CHARBONE.

CHARBONE is inviting investors and interested parties to register for the webinar, which will feature an overview of Q2 2026 results, recent operational achievements, and upcoming milestones. A question-and-answer session will be included, with the option to submit questions beforehand or live during the webinar.

Stock options previously announced on June 22, 2026, were cancelled and regranted on July 13, 2026, under identical terms.
