FintechWerx Payment Platform Now Live with AetherEV Energy Corporation
Vancouver, British Columbia — June 25, 2026 — Leads & Copy — FintechWerx International Software Services Inc. (CSE: WERX) announced today that its PaymentWerx platform is now operational and processing transactions for AetherEV Energy Corporation's electric vehicle charging network. This marks a significant step following a commercial licensing agreement earlier this year, moving the partnership from implementation to production.
AetherEV, an energy technology firm focused on electric vehicle charging and energy solutions, has integrated FintechWerx's gateway software and transaction processing services into its platform. This integration enables AetherEV to securely accept real-time payments, providing the flexibility needed as the company expands into new markets.
The successful deployment signifies a key commercial achievement for FintechWerx, positioning it as an embedded payments provider in the electric vehicle technology sector. The company sees potential for similar applications in energy, mobility, fleet, gaming, and other industries requiring integrated payment capabilities.
Data from Global Market Insights indicates that the global embedded payments market was valued at USD 24.7 billion in 2024 and is projected to grow at a 30.3% CAGR through 2034. This segment represented over 45% of the embedded finance market share in 2024 and is expected to surpass USD 400 billion by 2034.
George Hofsink, Co-Founder and CEO of FintechWerx, highlighted the transition to live commercial operations. “This milestone moves the relationship from implementation into processing live transactions,” Hofsink stated. “Many platform operators face similar payments challenges, and the successful implementation with AetherEV provides a strong example of how PaymentWerx can be embedded within specialized operating environments to support secure, scalable transaction processing.”
Jerry Lai, CEO of AetherEV Energy Corporation, commented that the deployment enhances AetherEV’s ability to scale its charging platform without the need for internal payment infrastructure development. “We are now live with FintechWerx and processing real-time transactions across our platform,” Lai said. “For AetherEV, payments need to work seamlessly within the user experience while supporting the flexibility required to grow into new markets and locations. FintechWerx provides the infrastructure to do that while allowing us to remain focused on expanding our energy and charging network.”
As AetherEV expands its charging locations, the deployment is anticipated to support an increasing volume of recurring transactions under the existing agreement.
AetherEV Energy Corporation develops electric vehicle charging and energy solutions to support the transition to distributed, electrified infrastructure, serving operators, site owners, fleet managers, and mobility providers. More information is available at www.aetherev.com.
