Scandium Canada to Participate in Mining and Critical Minerals Events

MONTRÉAL, QUÉBEC — May 7, 2026 — Leads & Copy — Scandium Canada Ltd. (TSX-V: SCD) announced its participation in several mining and critical minerals events in the coming weeks, supporting the company's commercial and strategic positioning before the release of the Crater Lake Pre-Feasibility Study in summer 2026.

Chief Science Officer Luc Duchesne will speak at the Critical Minerals Institute's CMI Summit 5 in Toronto on May 14. His presentation, “Scandium: A Case Study for Value-Added Opportunities in Critical Minerals Development,” will explore scandium's role in the evolving critical minerals sector, emphasizing integrated value chains.

Scandium Canada has been selected to join the Québec Economic Mission on Critical and Strategic Minerals in Europe, organized by Investissement Québec International and the Ministère des Ressources naturelles et des Forêts. President and COO Pierre Neatby will represent the company in Munich and Brussels from May 18 to 21, participating in roundtables and B2B meetings with industry stakeholders across the aerospace, automotive, and defense sectors during the EIT Raw Materials Summit.

CEO Guy Bourassa will present an update on the Crater Lake project at the Nunavik Mining Workshop in Kuujjuaq, Québec on May 21. His presentation, “The Crater Lake Project: Towards the Prefeasibility Study,” will cover key project timelines, the decision to locate the hydrometallurgical plant in Schefferville, and collaborative work with the Naskapi Nation on a potential access road.

Scandium Canada will also attend THE Mining Investment of the North conference in Québec City from June 2 to 4. The event facilitates meetings between mining companies and international investors and government mining authorities.
