SPARC AI Expands Its Defence Capabilities with Second Generation SPARC AI Mobile - Enabling Mobile-to-Air Target Handoffs and Autonomous Navigation
![]() | |||||||||
TORONTO, Canada – October 20, 2025 — TheNewswire - SPARC AI Inc. (the “Company”) (CSE: SPAI) (OTCQB: SPAIF) (Frankfurt: 5OV0) today announced the launch of the second generation of SPARC AI Mobile, extending the Company’s proven Target Acquisition System to handheld and field-issued mobile devices used by military and security operators. By turning phones and rugged tablets into precision geolocation and surveillance nodes, SPARC AI Mobile allows operators to acquire, mark, record, and transmit targets instantly — without lasers, radar, or lidar.
Critical new capabilities of the second generation of Sparc AI Mobile include:
• Mobile-to-Drone Target Handoff: Operators can now mark and transmit the location of distant objects directly from a mobile device. Once a target is identified on-screen, SPARC AI Mobile calculates the precise geolocation of that target — not the operator’s own position — and sends it to a connected drone. The drone autonomously flies to the coordinates to collect intelligence or even strike the target. By turning smartphones into precision targeting nodes, SPARC AI Mobile cuts reliance on costly ground sensors and extends unmanned system autonomy.
• Autonomous Navigation from Mobile: SPARC AI Mobile provides real-time geolocation and bearing data that enable autonomous flight and navigation for drones and robotic systems. Phones become mission nodes capable of guiding unmanned assets, maintaining accuracy even when GPS is jammed — a powerful differentiator in modern electronic warfare environments.
• SPARC AI Mobile is fully integrated with Overwatch to produce a single operational picture in both Military Grid Reference System (MGRS) and civilian coordinate formats.
With millions of field-issued mobile and tactical computing devices deployed across U.S., NATO and allied defence forces, the expansion of SPARC AI’s Target Acquisition System to mobile represents a transformational market opportunity. “There is an acceleration of drone usage across all military branches that provides a large market opportunity for SPARC AI.” said SPARC AI CEO Anoosh Manzoori. Each device can serve as a connected node in a GPS-denied targeting and navigation network, creating potential for large-scale, recurring SaaS subscriptions across defence, intelligence, and public safety sectors. As nations modernize their forces for multi-domain and electronic warfare environments, SPARC AI is positioned as a software layer powering autonomy, situational awareness, and precision engagement.
SPARC AI is organizing sample SPARC AI Mobile units for distribution to defence customers and authorized test agencies for evaluation and demonstration. Shipments of evaluation phones and rugged device kits will be coordinated with partner firms and relevant U.S. and Canadian defence stakeholders, with support from its recently appointed defence advisory firm.
