RIWI Forecasting Now Used by Finance Experts After Predicting US Presidential Prediction

RIWI Corp.

Toronto, ON / TheNewswire / November 21 2016 - In order to help predict the winner of the 2016 US Presidential election, RIWI Corp. (CSE: RIW) (the “Company” or “RIWI”) provided access to its patented global survey system and dashboard analytics tools to economists and stock market participants.

“On the Friday before the Presidential election, I received the strong data-based indication from RIWI that Mr. Donald J. Trump would be the next President of the United States,” said Mr. Manny Weiss, Chairman of Marylebone Diversified LLP based in London, England. “Despite the counter-signals of almost all the pollsters and pundits, RIWI data had it right. The RIWI signal continued to indicate a Trump win up to and including election night,” said Mr. Weiss.

From September 12, 2016 to November 8, 2016, RIWI solicited forecasts from over 147,000 Americans. RIWI’s systems asked random, anonymous online respondents to forecast which of the two major Presidential candidates would win their states’ Electoral College votes. RIWI did not ask the respondents for whom they themselves were voting. The goal was to monitor Electoral Votes at the state-level and to measure the degree to which people reported that they had enough information to make a forecast. “Since the vast majority of RIWI respondents in all regions of the world do not typically answer traditional surveys, such as self-selected opt-in panels, face-to-face interviews or telephone polls, RIWI’s broad, diverse and random respondents are ideally suited to making valuable ‘silent majority’ predictions,” said Neil Seeman, RIWI’s Chief Executive Officer.

RIWI plans to expand its customer base to more clients in the risk and finance sectors interested in understanding trends in crowd forecasting of regional instability anywhere in the world.  “For example, the results of the upcoming December 4th referendum in Italy have the potential to affect bank shares, bond yields or currencies. For the Italian referendum and other pivotal geo-political events in any country, RIWI allows clients to monitor and forecast volatility,” Mr. Seeman added.
