Nobelium Tech Corp. Announces that it Will Not be Proceeding with Proposed Qualifying Transaction



TORONTO, ONTARIO / TheNewswire / April 7, 2017 – NOBELIUM TECH CORP. ("Nobelium" or the “Company”), a capital pool company, announces that it will not be proceeding with the previously announced purchase of all of the issued and outstanding shares of VIZIYA Corporation (the “Transaction”).

 

Nobelium is a Capital Pool Company (“CPC”) and had intended that the Transaction would constitute its Qualifying Transaction under the policies of the TSX Venture Exchange.  Pursuant to the Transaction, Nobelium paid a non-refundable deposit of $25,000 to the target.  Nobelium will immediately begin to identify and close a Qualifying Transaction.

 

Erroll Treslan, a current director of Nobelium, has been appointed President, CEO and Chairman of Nobelium effective today replacing John Varghese, as President, CEO and Chairman.  Mr. Varghese will remain as a director of Nobelium.  Nobelium’s shares were halted from trading upon the prior announcement of the proposed Transaction.  It is anticipated that Nobelium will resume trading on the TSX Venture Exchange on or about April 13, 2017.
