SPARC AI Targets Global Drone Market with Chip-Based Navigation Solution

SPARC AI INC

May 21, 2025 – TheNewswire – Toronto, Canada – SPARC AI INC.  (CSE: SPAI) (OTCQB: SPAIF) (Frankfurt: 5OV0) (“SPAI” or the “Company”), a leader in GPS-denied navigation and target acquisition technology, is pleased to announce its plans to integrate its advanced software into microcontrollers and edge-based computer systems from semiconductor companies Nvidia, Qualcomm, and STMicroelectronics. These integrations will enable SPARC AI to provide an embedded AI solution for enhanced target acquisition and autonomous navigation capabilities via microcomputer systems used on billions of devices including air, land and water robotic systems.

These semiconductor companies supply components to drone manufacturers globally. SPARC AI will release embedded development kits for engineers, providing a clear distribution pathway for the Company. Engineers will be able to integrate target acquisition and autonomous navigation capabilities into their drones whilst controlling the user experience with tight integration with their existing products.

The integration provides a large market opportunity from the sale of new robotic systems and drones. It also provides an opportunity for drone manufacturers to update their flight control software to existing customers with enhanced target acquisition capabilities. The global drone market size was $73.6 billion in 2024. Over 35 million drones have been sold in the past 5 years with 1.35 million units sold to first responders and 650,000 units to military. Of the 8.5 million drones shipped annually, commercial drones accounted for 60% of total market revenue, according to Grand View Research report, Global Drone Industry Review 2024, Markets and Markets.

SPARC AI has successfully integrated its software into the Coral microprocessor, a chip maker by Google. The Company will leverage this experience, know-how and expertise to integrate with the new semiconductor companies.

SPARC AI’s successful integration with the Parrot ANAFI USA GOV military drone establishes a robust benchmark, demonstrating its capability to deliver precise target acquisition and GPS-denied navigation in a battle-ready, lightweight platform. By demonstrating its effectiveness in a leading military drone, SPARC AI strengthens its appeal to manufacturers seeking field-tested solutions, that will help drive demand for its software to be integrated into microcontrollers. SPARC AI is also waiting on response to a submission to a western army that includes the integration of SPARC AI into the Parrot ANAFI GOV drone.
