SuperQ Quantum Signs Strategic Partnership Agreement with St. Joseph's Autonomous College; Establishing India's First Quantum Super (TM) Hub, Bringing Quantum Research and Access to Millions of Potential Users
Calgary, Alberta – TheNewswire - August 14, 2025 – SuperQ Quantum Computing Inc. (“SuperQ Quantum”, “SuperQ”, or the “Company”) (CSE: QBTQ; Frankfurt: 25X; OTC: ATMGD) a global leader in quantum and supercomputing, announced the signing of a strategic partnership with St. Joseph’s Autonomous College, in Irinjalakuda, Kerala (“St. Joseph’s” or the “College”), a premier educational institution in India, to establish India’s first Super™ Hub on its campus. The Hub will provide cloud-based access to advanced quantum and supercomputing through SuperQ’s Super™ platform for students, researchers, and industry partners. The initiative is the first of its kind in India and will join SuperQ’s growing global network of quantum Super™ Hubs.
A Strategic Collaboration to Advance Quantum Tech in India
The collaboration was catalyzed at Quantum India Bengaluru (QIB) 2025, where SuperQ’s Chief Business Officer, Manoj Joseph, connected with Prof. Dr. Mathew Chandrankunnel, a renowned quantum physicist. Together with St. Joseph’s Autonomous College’s leadership, the parties aligned on a shared vision to accelerate the practical adoption of quantum science and technologies in India.
"Witnessing India's National Quantum Mission (NQM) and related provincial initiatives for quantum innovation was truly enlightening," stated Mr. Joseph. "Our subsequent visit to St. Joseph's Autonomous College revealed extraordinary enthusiasm for the adoption of quantum technologies by researchers in computer science, biotechnology, robotics and applied mathematics. Moreover, there is a strong desire to engage industry in commercializing quantum computing in the province of Kerala. This perfectly aligns with SuperQ's mission to democratize quantum computing utilization in research and industry."

On-Campus Impact and Industry Applications
The Super Hub will enable faculty, researchers, students, and local industry to model real-world problems in natural language, build quantum and hybrid workflows, and generate customized quantum powered software products through the Super™ platform - turning advanced computation into accessible, actionable solutions.
Initial demonstrations at the partnership signing event highlighted commercial applications including employee scheduling, clinical trial optimization, and financial portfolio optimization, underscoring the platform’s abilities to rapidly deliver results without requiring expertise in physics or computer science. This will empower the academic community at the College, nearby institutions, and industry to transform theoretical research into practical, productized applications, fostering innovation with a real-world impact through networking.
SuperQ’s implementation partner in India, Aarnova Intelligence, will provide on-the-ground support to ensure successful deployment and industry adoption of the Super Hub. The partnership was signed by representatives from SuperQ, St. Joseph’s and Aarnova Intelligence.
Quotes from the Signing Ceremony
“Kerala and Irinjalakuda have a rich history in mathematics and physics. As a computer scientist and mathematician, I see Irinjalakuda as a fitting home for India’s first Super Hub,” said Dr. Muhammad Ali Khan, CEO and Board Chair of SuperQ Quantum, who was joining the ceremony virtually. “I’m excited to see the Super™ platform become broadly available geographically to catalyze research, education, and industry impact.”
Prof. Mathew Chandrankunnel in his speech observed that “It is a historic moment. The establishment of the quantum Super Hub at the College is the continuation of the mathematical developments in initiated in Irinjalakuda, Kerala from the 13th century onwards by the prominent mathematical school led by Sangmagrama Madhava (1340-1425), Nilalkantha Somayaji (1444-1544) and others.”
“This partnership marks a pivotal moment for St. Joseph’s Autonomous College as 2025 has been designated the International Year of Quantum Science and Technology,” said Sister Dr. Blessy, Principal of St. Joseph’s Autonomous College. “We are committed to creating unparalleled opportunities in quantum science and technologies for our faculty, students, researchers, and regional industry.”
“We are thrilled to provide local support to ensure the quantum Super Hub thrives as a center of innovation,” said Pawan Gupta, CEO of Aarnova Intelligence. “Our goal is to enable adoption across the ecosystem and translate advanced capabilities into productized solutions.”
