Sonoro Energy Advises of Change in Rig Plans Previously Announced for Countess Well in Alberta

August 7, 2025 – TheNewswire - Calgary, Alberta – Sonoro Energy Ltd. (“Sonoro” or the “Company”) (TSXV: SNV) has been advised by Precision Drilling Corporation that Rig PD239 is not available for mobilization to the Countess Well this weekend as previously planned.
As a result, Sonoro will not spud its Countess Well early next week as reported and announced via press release earlier today.
Sonoro will provide an update on revised timing for drilling the Countess Well as soon as an alternative rig is sourced. Sonoro intends to drill the Countess well in August as planned, subject to rig availability.
